Session three. Read Job 2, 1-8
Then Satan answered the Lord and said, “Skin for skin! All that a man has he will give for his life. (2,4)
So, Satan went out from the presence of the Lord and struck Job with loathsome sores from the sole of his foot to the crown of his head. (2,7)
The enemy declared that goods and even children are not Job himself, let Job be stripped of honor and health and see what happens when he has absolutely nothing left to thank God for. Will he remain as a believer in God?
Job´s suffering is physical, emotional, social and spiritual, he has been afflicted in every possible sense.
And Job took a piece of broken pottery with which to scrape himself while he sat in the ashes. (2,8)
