The LCOS Youth Group, also known as, the ROOTS is a group of middle school and high school that are continuing to grow and serve LCOS’ missions through reaching up, reaching out, and reaching in. In the past year we’d established our identify with a new name: ROOTS (Reaching Outstanding Opportunities Through Service); increased our fundraising activities and participated with other youth groups by attending events like Rock the Universe (at Universal Studios) and the River Rat Ramble.

We have an exciting year planned as we prepare for the 2009 Youth Gathering in New Orleans! We will be picking up our fundraising activities to raise enough money to support our trip. We also look forward to having more involvement across generations with the establishment of Prayer Partners.
