The Note Folks, organized by Pastor (now Bishop) Benoway in 1987, is still going well. We are, at present, three older ladies who try to do our work faithfully 52 weeks a year. We have no "leader"-- just get in there and do what needs to be done. We try to greet visitors and show concern to members of LCOS by sending appropriate cards and notes.

In 2004 we mailed 114 visitor cards, 10 get well cards, 11 "thinking of you" cards, 18 new member cards, 8 sympathy cards, 6 Easter cards, 11 Christmas cards and one new home card. The total of all cards was 179.

Our service includes cleaning up pews, straightening hymnals and checking envelopes and Pencils and sometimes retrieving those jammed in the wrong slot.
