The Hospitality Team at LCOS is made up of an ever-growing group of women
who work to create a warm first impression and a continued welcoming environment
for events the church hosts. Our goal is to offer to every person the
love of Jesus Christ through us.
Our “Greeter Program” consists of two of our team members (on a rotating basis)
standing outside the entrance to the church every Sunday morning prior to the
service meeting to greet members, friends, and visitors. We assist visitors
in any way we can and invite them to the Coffee Hour. Above all, we want
them to feel welcome and happy they came to visit!!!
The “Note Folks” are part of the Hospitality Team. For over twenty years
they have been consistently sending notes to visitors, the sick and shut-in,
new baby congratulations, sympathy notes and just “Thinking of You”. They are
always looking for more volunteers! A few hours on Tuesday mornings can
have such meaning. Please think about joining them and contact us
for details on how you might help.
We are always eager for new people to join our team. New faces
and fresh ideas are wonderful. You can choose to take a behind
the scenes supportive role or jump in with both feet! A great
team needs a variety of talents and personalities.
The Hospitality Team is a “Nurturing Team” for the whole congregation.
We want to assist visitors in feeling welcome; make sure members feel
loved and appreciated; and help all experience the love of Jesus Christ through us.
